Sónar Barcelona is the 3-day International Festival of Advanced Music and Congress of Technology and Creativity held in Barcelona, Spain. For this project, my aim was to create an identity that highlighted the multiple aspects that make this event such an innovative and progressive event. Music, visual art, and technology are three of the most influential parts of culture, and trying to contain that global impact within a city was a huge inspiration for my design. Using satellite images from Google Earth, I documented the area where Sónar would be taking place and designed my word mark around the venue area.
